Sitting on top of the church enjoying a beautiful day - day dreaming in shades of blue.
This is one of the most iconic scenes in Santorini, Greece. Santorini is located about 200 km (120 mi) southeast from the Greek mainland, with an area of approximately 73 km2(28 sq mi) and a 2021 census population of 15,480. People flock to this small island from all over the world to experience its spectacular beauty. Number of visitors are about 2 millions per year while the population of Santorini and size of its land is much smaller. Tourists are greeted by locals as well as various stray cats. On one sunny day, a black cat sits on the top of the church to sun bath, falling a sleep while listening to the gentle sounds of the deep blue ocean. I dreamed of being there while I was painting this scene.
