Imagine standing in front of a beautiful turquoise ocean. You feel the sea breeze and listen to the sounds of the ocean. This is a wonderful place to meditate and restore your soul.
When I think of the ocean, I feel like it is the source of the term Mother Nature. Its gentle sounds so often produce a calming effect just like a mother to a baby. There are number of studies conducted that demonstrate how the ocean can provide us with a positive impact to our phycology that can exceed its simple beauty alone. For example, its sound, breeze, blue hue, and the vastness of the ocean all have a calming effect for us. It helps to improve our mood as we sit by the sea, and it gets us to do some exercise, such as swimming, surfing, or even just walking on the shore line. People go out to see nature after a long winter has come to an end, because we know nature can help to alleviate our built up stress. The ocean is one major contributor in that regard. It is a gift from Mother Nature….
