A beautiful bird swan - gentry floating on the water and watching other birds - simply sitting there makes them graceful. Who created the ‘Ugly duckling’ story then?
I feed birds from time to time. When I do that, I go to my favorite spot of the Mystic River and give breads to waterfowls. Normally, ducks and geese try to get the first bite while swan sit back and watch what other birds do. Of course they take a bread if there isn’t a competition but they are not interested in the bread race. Swan maintains its grace at all times, even during the napping! Its long neck makes a circle and sits on top of the body. Because of its beauty, swan has been used as some sort of symbols or logos, and perhaps the most notable one is a Swan Lake. I’m not sure how swan perceives its own beauty, but people all around the world appreciate it. I’m one of them.
